Nesta edição, o 86-77-86 visitou toda a poliritmia dos sons africanos através da New Wave. Da multicultural Nova Iorque do final de 70s aos novos sons de Manchester dos anos 80, a antena da Rádio Universidade de Coimbra encheu-se de ritmo.
